Thomas Ahkanen Model 114, also called Vertical Siren or Air Attack Alarm, refers to a line of medium sized omnidirectional sirens produced produced by Aparak from early 2020s to present. The series was designed by attorney Thomas Ahkanen Aboubakar, who also designed Aparak's PF130 and the sirens by Keomanee Signal. Mostly used in India as air raid sirens, they competed with offerings by Mumbai Signal PVT Ltd and Keomanee Siren Ltd., the latter of which is also run by Aboubakar himself.
"Model 114" is used as the article's title as it refers to a specific name given to some models in this lineup. However, not all sirens in this lineup are called "Model 114". There are many different models that are included in this lineup, which will be discussed below.
